Communications
will continue to improve throughout the state. NHA
has re-signed for another year with EMSystem and
also has begun working with other providers such
as WebEOC to foster an interoperable
communications system throughout Nevada. New
programs such as RoamIT and EmergiLink are also
being work on cooperatively by the NHA and other
emergency first response agencies.
ABOUT THE NEVADA HOSPITAL
ASSOCIATION
The Nevada Hospital Association (NHA) is a
not-for-profit, statewide, professional
association, representing the vast majority of
Nevada's hospitals, and other health-related
agencies and organizations throughout the state.
Formally established in 1960 and incorporated in
1971, NHA was created by hospital administrators
to provide a unified forum for all types of
hospitals to address such issues as reimbursement,
worker's compensation, professional liability and
continuing education, among others.
